My client isn’t really comfortable having to paste code into the html section of the page for their youtube videos and has requested something specific to resolve this.  I suspect it’s possible and probably even in existence, but as I’ve not seen it…here i am.

What they would like is an icon that can fit into the RTF bar or similar that allows them to place their curser where they want the image in the non-code part of the admin and have the button pop-up a html box or similar to simply post the code into.

In short, they want an easier way of managing their videos being pulled from youtube on random pages in random templates.  Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi cappymoo.media, have you looked at Channel Videos from Dev Demon http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/channel-videos?

It doesn’t give you a button in the RTF but does have an easy to use interface that you can search YouTube from within the EE control panel, I am pretty sure it will achieve what you are after and it’s a free plugin 😊

Let me know what you think.
