    Hello,

I’m very new to website building.  I have put together a site that is built using PHP, CSS & some JS.  How can I bring that site inside my newly purchased EE platform?  I have the inside a folder on the same server as the EE.

    Thanks
    AA

First things first, grab a cup of tea and some biscuits and head on over to the documentation and have a read: http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/index.html. The docs from the team really are some of the best in the industry.

The Getting Started docs should ... get you started, but essentially what you want to do is create some channels (to hold data such as blog posts, etc) and start building out your templates (that’s all explained in the Getting Started docs).

Have a read, and if you’re still not sure where to start then please ask away!

    Thank you very much.
One other question I have is: Will I be able to turn my existing website to a membership site using EE?
