Hi can anyone recommend a good way/plugin for this (eg a Channel with product entries could be downloaded by client as a CSV file).
Also, would the option exist to do the reverse - ie have a CSV file with fields matching custom fields of the product channel and allow user to upload a batch of products from the CSV into Channel entries?

There’s an add-on called AJW Export (free) for exporting and DataGrab (commercial) for importing, both from Andrew Weaver. You can get them on devot-ee.com

Cheers John, I looked at that and looks good just wasn’t sure if there are others to compare - this seems a less popular subject for add-ons than other requirements.
