    Hi,

I’ve got a client that needs to redirect a link from a listing to his site.

He’s a real estate agent and they need to be able to have their listing link from an iframe on another site.
This other site asks for the url’s to be specific.

One of the request is to have to letters (MT) in from of the home ID.
    ex: http://www.myclient.com/properties/MT88947

Problem is those 2 letter HAVE to be in CAPS.
EE keeps making the url’s in lowercase.

Is there a way to force CAPS or a script I could use that would “ignore” those two variables in the url some way?

    Anyone had this problem before?

    Thanks for the help!

For those who might get this similar problem, I figured a way by creating 301 redirects on each new entry added by using the “htaccess_maker” module.
It’s a great way to dynamically create 310 links in the .htaccess from a EE template file.

I created fake myclientsite.com/MT88947 links based on the entries.
And then redirected them to the good URL.

I’m sure it’s not the best way to do it but it works and my client is happy!

    Hey David,

I looks like you’ve come to a solution, but you might be interested in Title Master too.

Is there anything else I can assist you with?
