I am new to Expression Engine.  I have been asked to change the address on a clients website within the footer area.  The footer is the same on every page, so it must be in a master area.  Can anyone tell me how to make the changes to the address?

    Thanks

it could vary depending on how the site was setup. I would start with looking at the Templates in Design>Templates>Template Manager. See if the page templates are embedding the footer some way.

Depending if they handle the template externally you may have to FTP and get the file, otherwise if it is done inside EE do what MikeTheVike suggested.

It will also be worth checking to see if they used a snippet which maybe called in the template, this can be found in Design > Templates > Snippets
