Is it possible to filter out entries with an {edit_date} prior or beyond a certain date and time?

    Hi David,

You can use the start_on parameter to filter out entries created before a certain date, but no, it’s not possible to do the same thing with the edit date.

    Hm, thats a bummer….
I wanted to do this to get a quick overview of which articles have not gotten any editorial love lately.

Have you any ideas on another way to accomplish such a filtering. I’m looking at Zenbu to see if it could help me out.

    Hi David,

Zenbu would let you filter that in the Control Panel. Is that where you want to filter the entries? Or in the channel entries tag?

    Thanks,

    Hi!
I was initially thinking of filter this in the channel entries tag but giving it another thought I cant really see why I shouldnt be happy doing this in the control panel.

So this problem of mine seem to be solved using Zenbu.

Being such a versatile tool as Expressionengine is I cant help being a little curious on how come such a filtering in the channel entries tag is not implemented.
-Is it too tricky to accomplish?
-No one thought of it? (nah!)
-Until this moment no one has had a need for such a feature?

    Just a little curious! 😊

Option 2 and 3 are most likely 😉

I think the distinction has more to do with context - the edit date is potentially less relevant on the presentation side (templates) than the editorial side (Control Panel).

But? Sounds like a great chance to make a Feature Request!
