    Hi,
Today I upgraded from 1.7.3 to 2.5.2 The process went fairly well (with only a few glitches). It’s one (internal) website. At the end the message from EE came that the upgrade was successful. However both my CP and the homepage gave blanc pages. Setting the debug on gives this message on the homepage: Edit 24-08-2012:

“Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_DB_mysql_driver::get_where() in .......expressionengine/core/EE_Config.php on line 211”

    The CP gives a HTTP-error 500.
    Any advise?

    Hi, CBB -

I suspect there is a PHP or MySQL version issue.  Can you go to our Requirements page:

    http://expressionengine.com/overview/requirements/

and download the wizard.  Upload it to your server then visit it in your browser and let us know the results?

    Thank you!

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for your quick response. Really appreciate it.
I ran the wizard and it’s an all YES.

    Hey CBB,

    Thank you for that information!

Are you able to check your system logs? 500 errors are server related and there may be more information in the logs.

It’s really odd that the Server Wizard is good, it really feels like a MySQL or PHP mismatch as Lisa mentioned.

Hopefully we can check the logs!

    Thank you,

    Hello,

I installed a clean new version of EE 2.5.2. on a test db en site and this works fine.

After a long search I discovered that in my installation files both config.php and database.php missed. It appears that Zipgenius doesn’t unzip files with 0 bytes! This also explains why in the installation user guide was referred to the database.php where as I could not find this in my files. There were probably more files missing. So..
Unzipped the whole package with Winrar uploaded again and did a reset on the database. Upgrade went smoothly! CP is running. Site has still some problems because off plugins/extensions/php to be modified.

Case closed so far. Thanks again for you quick response.
