I’m creating my own forums, kinda like what you see on the Verge, where regular users will post to the system.  So I’ve given my basic members access to post in the forum section of my site but in order for them to post, they would need the url to the posting area.  During installation you are told to rename your admin.php file to something else.  I figured this was for security.

    1. Is there a way to hide the url to outside users?
    2. Is there another way to allow people to post without accessing the control panel that the super admins and regular site editors access?

    Thanks!

    Hi Torrence,

There is a module specifically created for this type of feature called SafeCracker

It includes some examples to get you started
