I’ve just deployed an EE site which was working fine locally under MAMP to a Windows-based server and am getting this on admin.php after enabling debugging:

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Notice

    Message: Undefined variable: count

    Filename: core/Common.php

    Line Number: 495

PHP 5.1.1. Any idea what the minimum version of PCRE would be?

my server has 7.8 2008-09-05, but base on change log looks like they fixed it in 6.5 01-Feb-06

    btw:
    EE2 Server Requirements
    PHP version 5.1.6 or newer

5.1.6 is going with PCRE 6.6 or newer as I saw.

Thanks Max. I hardly ever need to check the minimum requirements for EE because nearly every server covers them. Except this one of course. :/
