Depends on your code editor and if you want to use FTP.
In Coda, FTP is built-in so you can upload your templates straight from within your code editor.
Never understood why TextMate nor Sublime Text don’t have FTP built in. Guess it’s not cool anymore these days to do simple FTP transfers.

one good think of mountee is that mount the global variables too, more snippets and templates

For snippets I use Bjørn’s SnippetsSync. http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/snippetssync After the add-on is installed and the folder is created, I can just use my code editor like I would with templates. Might give Mountee a try after I read some user reviews.

I use Mountee and love it. With Mountee your templates etc are not file based.

yes cool, I use sublime text and mountee
so I continue with mountee 😉
