    Friends:

I’m currently redesigning a site by creating a set of templates in a new template group while the current site lives in another template group.

The current site does not have index.php removed from its urls, but I would like to remove it from the urls of the redesigned site.

Can I remove index.php only from the urls which are based on the new template group - to make testing prior to launch easier? If so, how would I go about doing that?

    Thanks,
    Frank

    Hi FrankJohnson,

Unfortunatley the .htaccess removal that we support covers the entire domain.

But you can switch between index.php and no index.php pretty easy with Deeploy Helper and Reelocate. These two Add-Ons put all your paths right on one page for easy use.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
