I have updated several entries with new content and they are not publishing. Revisions appear in the revisions tab but not on the website. I am not using the pages module and have tried to publish using different accounts and privileges. No luck - any ideas?

    Is it a cache issue?

That was the first thing that I tried. No luck.

Is it a cache issue with your browser?

    Hi salandra,

I’m sorry you are having trouble with getting your edits to publish!

Can you give me some information on your installation?

What version of ExpressionEngine are you using? Have you double checked statuses? Are you sure to submit the entry rather than save a revision when you are done?

    Cheers,

    Hi Dan,

I am running v2.3.1 - Build: date 20111017 (I know I need to update and will once this issue is fixed, the database no updating is a little concerning and I don’t want to lose the revisions).

Yes we are publishing not just saving the entry and yes I have checked statuses. An older version of the entry remains live.

    Hi Sandra,

Indeed, let’s get this sorted before we worry about updating!

Be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab, I’d like to take a look at this first hand.

    Cheers,

    Hi all,

Just a followup to wrap up.

It was a typo - actually, one channel field was repeated twice. Once we used the right field name, everything was peachy keen.

    Cheers,
