I’m on EE 2.4.0 Build: date 20120123, and when I go to edit entries listing page for a specific channel, the additional pages display our 404 Not Found page. It only appears to do this with this one particular channel. Other channels that have more than 50 results, and go to second or third pages, work fine.

The URL that appears after I click the Next Page link is: /system/C=content_edit&tbl_offset=50/  (this is the URL that throws the 404)

    Please help 😊

    Hey adro,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

What do you have set for that channel’s url? Under Channel Prefs there is Path Settings, this is set there.

It sounds like the settings for that one channel are the issue.

    Cheers,

The channel’s URL is just set the main URL of the site. I have the same thing for the other channels that are displaying results properly on their edit screen.

That was actually one of the first things I checked…

    Hey adro,

We could go back and forth for a few pages comparing settings, or I can just login and look. I like option #2.

Please be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.

    Cheers,

    Hey adro,

I see that you are using Structure.

Is it possible for you to take that out of the picture for testing? Structure really changes the way the URL works in ExpressionEngine and from what I see, there is nothing else in your channel settings that would account for this. You might also ask the same question of the Structure Developers.

    Cheers,

Why would Structure have any effect on the channel edit listings page in ExpressionEngine ?? I can’t imagine why Structure would change core EE functionality of how the Content—> Edit—> “Channel” page works.

Just so we’re clear, this is the page of the CP that is not working correctly with the additional pages: /system/index.php?S=0&D=cp&C=content_edit&channel_id=4

    Hey adro,

Gotcha. I did not realize this was in the Control Panel. Let me take another look.

    Cheers,

If you go to the page in the CP that I sent and try to navigate through the pagination, you should get the 404. But if you try it on the Edit screen for a different channel, you’ll see that it works.
