I’m trying to instal the SafeCracker module. After I install—and click the SafeCracker link to go to the control panel/settings—I get this message:

    An Error Was Encountered
You are not authorized to access this page

And SafeCracker is not installed—although it says it is.

Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

    Hi msmith29063,

What version of ExpressionEngine are you using?

Are you a Super Admin when you install SafeCracker?

    Cheers,

    EE v2.3.1

Yes. I’m a super admin when trying to install.

Let me know what else I can do. Thanks for your help.

    Hi msmith29063,

Was this an update, or a fresh install?

Can you look into /system/expressionengine/third_party? What SafeCracker related files are there?

    You should only see safecracker_file

Is this on a server that we might get a look at?

    Cheers,

    Fresh install.

    Yes. I only see safecracker_file.

Just PM’d you the FTP information. Thank you.

BTW—I’m logged in with one of my other clients’ EE accounts. Sorry about that.

Dan, how can I get the server information to you? Your PM is full. And I need to get his installed as soon as possible.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi msmith29063,

Our PM boxes are not full, they are disabled for security reasons. When we request login details, we do so via private email.

With that, be looking for an email from EllisLab!

    Hi Mathew,

I received your reply, but alas, no details were included - just an empty reply.

    I’ll resend the request!
