Hi,

is it possible to disable the ‘delete entry’ fundcvtionality for a specific channel? I’m making an invoce system in EE, which seems to be going good, but I’d like to disable deleting invoiuces, because of the incremental values of the invoice number.

You could create a member group that has permissions to create new entries in the channel you’re using but doesn’t have permission to delete them.

I thought about that too, but in other channels they are allowed to delete entries. Theuser group only allows me to set a general delete function for all channels.

Yeah, what I suggested wouldn’t really work then. I’m not sure how you could accomplish this!

I am not aware of a way to do this and a quick search of Devot:ee reveals nothing.
