As stated here above auto links do not work, even when switched on in the Channel preferences. I would expect it does, especially since this is a standard module?

Hmmmm… the point could be debated - but I am on your side.
The other side is that the RTE by design has a facility for creating links, but again I totally see your point and share your expectation based on the setting.
You can either file this as a Feature Request or a Bug Report.
Either way, the Dev Team will take it into consideration.

Sorry Dan, missed the notification on this thread, I’ll try the bug report then! (I would expect it to work, a feature request is for added functionality imo)
