customer wants us to guarantee traffic capacity at minimum 500.000 UU/month (of course for the correct hosting).

The question is: are we able to use EE to built site with forum, a lot of entries and a lot of users and fulfill this criterion?
I assumed that the website will be using correct language and there will be no errors in the code.

Am I able to find technical specifications for this kin?

ExpressionEngine performs as well as the hardware it is hosted on. If you are expecting high traffic, you would want to select a well respected host and work with them on performance technologies like Varnish.

As far as forum capacity, these very forums are run on ExpressionEngine in Discussion Forum 😊

There isn’t a spec sheet, per se. Each ExpressionEngine installation can be performance tuned based on the demands of the project. But the “how” of that is entirely up to you.
