    Dear Support,
I just tried to create a new site (first one) using msm and it failed to copy my templates, etc.  My site is on enginehosting.  I got the following error:

    Error Number: 1064

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 3

    SELECT * FROM (`exp_category_posts`) WHERE `entry_id` IN ()

    Filename: controllers/cp/sites.php

    Line Number: 819

EE and MSM are all up to date as of 6-11-12.  MSM is a new install
    Thanks for helping,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for posting to the Forums! Sorry for your trouble with MSM.

It sounds related to this bug. Can you try the fix and see where we’re at?

    Cheers,

    Hi Dan,
I did the edits for the sites.php file but I still get the same error.  As same as before, I can create the new site, but nothing gets duplicated/moved.  I have to delete the new site each time.

    Hi Dave,

Can you verify this for me?

EE and MSM are all up to date as of 6-11-12.  MSM is a new install

That would mean ExpressionEngine 2.5.2 and MSM version 2.1.3, is that correct?

    Cheers,

    Great News,
I had to clear all my cache in EE and then I tried again and it worked.
    Thanks for helping,
    Dave
