Is there any way to duplicate the output of the single tag,

{pagination_links}

by using the tag pair of

{pagination_links}
  stuff in here
{/pagination_links}

It looks like it’s not possible, but I just wanted to verify that.

I haven’t done it myself, but the docs say it’s possible. You can use it as a single tag or a tag pair:
