For the first time i have looked at the searches that get logged in View Search Log on my various ee sites .

Why are there so many strange searchers, for e.g.:  there are scatological ones, http : // weirdnames dot com etc etc

Are these a security concern?

Thanks for your question!

I wouldn’t be too concerned. Those are likely the result of “form bots” filling in attempting to spam comments or forums an only finding your search form.
