Hi there! I’m pretty new to EE, so this may be an obvious question for you old hands, but since upgrading to 2.5.1, the member/login page results in a 404 error. (http://agileatlas.org/member/login)

The member module is installed (and this page/url used to work). The profile triggering word is set to ‘member’. I use the standard ‘index.php’ removal code in .htaccess. All the members still appear in the list in the admin area, and I can view their profiles there, but not as rendered pages at the site url. (Same 404)

    Help?

The only really weird thing I noticed is that after upgrading, in the admin area, at the bottom footer, it says Freelancer v2.5.1. (screenshot: http://cl.ly/HAfD) This is not a Freelancer site, it’s a Non-Commercial site. I double checked the serial number entered in the site preferences; it’s still the same as on our receipt. Is it possible that this is cause of the problem?

I have a Freelancer license for myself, but this one is a client site, and this license was purchased by the client. Did I somehow get the wrong upgrade files? And even if this isn’t the cause of the member login page problem, will it be a problem in the future?

Any help on this? The forum module doesn’t work either. Please?

Is there a better way to get help on this than the forum???

    Hi mitten,

We do our best to provide a professional support response within 48hrs during the business week.

Sorry for your delays, but the fix is pretty simple.

As the Control Panel reports, you have inadvertently uploaded the Freelance version of ExpressionEngine to your client’s site. Freelancer does not support the membership features of EE, hence the errors.

All you need to to do is upload your client’s non commercial files to the server, remove the /system/installer and you will be all set. Make sure to preserve /system/expressionengine/config/config.php - /system/expressionengine/config/database.php /system/expressionengine/templates/ - /system/expressionengine/third_party and /themes/third_party

    Cheers!
