I am able to log in to EE, but all the CSS / style sheets seem to be absent. All I see is text. It is odd and very difficult to use.
(The website was hacked several months ago, and EE was apparently re-installed.)
Any ideas? Help?
Thank you.

Hey jupebox,
I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.
What version of ExpressionEngine are you currently running?
This is common when updating if the themes folder does not upload completely or if the perms on the themes folder are incorrect. Can you re upload the themes folder and check on the perms and let me know?
Thank you,

A similar thing happened to me after upgrading to the latest EE version on my local machine. Backend styles were missing.
However, while upgrading I changed the name of the root folder. I noticed that backend login images were still pointed to the old root folder name. I was able to resolve by updating paths to the new root folder name: Admin>General Configuration>
-URL to the root directory of your site
-URL to your “themes” folder
-Theme Folder Path

I have the same problem after moving 1.6.8. EE site from a server to another.
But after updating paths to the new root folder name: Admin>General Configuration>
-URL to the root directory of your site
-URL to your “themes” folder
-Theme Folder Path
still don’t works!!!
