I’ve gotten a request from a client to be able to add links to the member’s bio area. Obviously we could put html code in there, but ideally, it would be nice to have a basic WYSIWYG editor for that field. Is anything like this possible?

Hello danielcgold,
What version of ExpressionEngine are you running? The latest version has a Rich Text Editor that would accomplish this.
Are you able to update to 2.5.1 at this time?

Hey Shane,
I’m using 2.5.1. Is that Rich Text Editor field type available for custom member fields? I tried to add a custom member field and the only options that are available are text input, textarea, and select list. Is there another place to make a member field a Rich Text Editor fieldtype?

Gotcha. I misunderstood.
There is nothing that I am aware of that would do this there, but I can move this over to the Community Help Forum to see if the community has an ideas.
