    Hi.
Is there a way to track versions of saved content in EE? After a fair amount of googling, it appears that the best system was Publish Plus for EE 1 where content edits/versions were tracked and saved so it was easy to revert to previous versions. Also, email notifications were sent out each time a piece of content was edited.

Is anything like this available for the latest version of EE? At the very least, is there a way to display the last edited date and time and the username?

Our EE site is getting larger by the day and would love for a better way to manage and track content.

    Hi AirWatch,

Thanks for starting your discussion on the Forums!

There are a couple of option to consider. Better Workflow and Publish Plus: Workflow look to be a good place to start.

    Cheers,

Isn’t there is a basic native way to do this in Channel Preferences in the Versioning Preferences?

I’ve used versioning so the client can click on the Revisions tab on the Publish page to see what and when changes were made… then they can rollback to an earlier version if desired.

I’ve also used MX Notify Control to send custom alerts whenever entries are added or modified.
