We recently upgraded from EE 1.x to 2.5. In our previous version, the user uploaded a file and the file path only displayed in the text field after upload (i.e., image.jpg). Currently, in 2.5, when the image is uploaded, the text returned has not just the path, but also the complete HTML image tag (i.e., image.jpg. This requires our users to go back in and delete the HTML tag or the image does not display correctly. I would prefer to get the path-only back since there are thousands of entries in our database with path-only and changing all of the templates to accommodate this new format would be a significant investment.
Please advise.
