Can anybody confirm the solution?
This fix seems to resolve the bug for me also. Tnx.

Thanks kindly timoteus. Your fix seems to have resolved the issue for me as well.
My other issue remains unresolved. When I initially login to the control panel, I’m suddenly getting about a dozen or so PHP errors related to models/addons_model.php. This seems to occur only on initial login; once I start navigating around the control panel there seem to be no subsequent errors. I suspect this may be related to something I have misconfigured, but I have no idea.
Thanks again timoteus.

Hey Mike,
Can we get in for a closer look at the errors?
I’ll send a request via email.

Hi timoteus,
Can you file this as a Bug Report? I haven’t replicated but you obviously have a fix and that will let us get it in front of the Dev team to investigate.
Thanks!

This problem surfaced on a brand new 2.5.1 installation for me. While the removal of SORT_STRING did get ride of the issue, I’m commenting here for any updates.
Thanks, timoteus.

Ok, I’ve created a bug report on this issue (https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/17978).

Hi Sean,
Be sure to comment on the bug report. However, the resolution for the Original Post here was related to the Health Check accessory. Are any of you all running that accessory as well?

Not running Health Check on our installation and we’re getting the same error. 😕

While the PHP error has gone away in the CP, I still can’t seem to upload or edit any images via the image fieldtype. Anyone else have this part of the bug persist after using timoteus’ patch?

Hi Reusser Design, LLC,
Did you apply the solution in the bug report?
Has anyone here updated to ExpressionEngine 2.5.2 and if so, can you comment if the bug persists?
Cheers,
