Hi Support,
I´m not able to edit or publish entries with german “Umlauts” (ä,ö,ü) after moving my local installation to a new server . If I remove them, it works as it should.
The database seems to be ok (utf-8) and the Umlaute are showing up correct.
EE v2.4.0 - Build: date 20120123

Hi Martin,
I’m sorry for the trouble you are having here!
Are you seeing any errors? If so, what are they?
When you exported the database for move, did you make sure to export as UTF-8?
What language are you using in the Control Panel?

Hi Dan,
Thank you for your answer. We copied the site to another server with a newer PHP version (although the installation wizard checked for a proper version on the “older” server). Strange, but this solved our problem.
