Hi, I have a problme with users editing a channel field.
When they edit it…the status defaults to closed. They cannot change the status to open. They are the editor and can change who the editor is. The member account has the following settings:
Can access the control panel? Yes
Can access CONTENT section Yes
Can access CONTENT: Publish Yes
Can access CONTENT: Edit Yes
Can access CONTENT: File Manager Yes
Can administrate channels and channel preferences Yes
Can view channel entries authored by others Yes
Can edit entries authored by others Yes
Can change the author name when posting channel entries Yes
Can post and edit entries in: flickr Yes (the channel field in question)
In the channel preferences:
Default Status Open
How can I make it so they have access to change the status (this should already be happening with the current setting I believe). And, how do I make it so that their posts are by default open status.
