    Hello

    Could someone help me with the following.

    I have categories with sub categories and I would like the following

    1 url output (limit=“1”)

    site/{category_url_title}/{sub_category_url_title}

    How could I do this?

    With kind regards,
    Martijn

    Sorry, what are you trying to do?

    If it’s achieve a URL with both category and subcategory segments then EE doesn’t do that natively. I’d suggest looking at Low’s Seg2Cat addon.

    Thanks Boyink!
    Just solved it my self.

    One other problem.
    How do I display entries belonging to a sub-category?
    domain.com/site/country/state

    country = category
    state = sub category

    I submit my entries to a sub category.
    How could I show entries belonging to a sub category.

    regards,
    Martijn

    From a entry display perspective, unless you are using add-ons, to EE a subcategory is the same as a category.  EE knows which entries to display based on seeing a correctly-formatted URL.

    I’d suggest reviewing this tutorial:
    http://www.train-ee.com/courseware/free-tutorials/comments/working-with-categories/

    However if you’ve created non-standard URL’s it isn’t going to work - this is where Lows Seg2Cat comes in.

    Nice.
    Category and sub category are using the standard URLs (As far I can tell)

    Example:
    Category “The Netherlands” url = the_netherlands
    same for sub category.

    I will look into your suggestions.

    Thanks 😊

    Hi Martijn,

    It looks like Mike and Seg2Cat have solved your issues?

    Is there anything else I can assist you with?

    Cheers,
