    I find it very challenging to come up with designs that work for single page websites. Did one this weekend and wondering what people will say:

    Classic Mobile Detailing

    I did it for free for a friend of mine. He doesn’t even know I did it yet 😊

    It’s pretty attractive, but I would make the header just plain black, without the triangles at either sides. It’s cleaner and less noisy 😊

    You must have a really wide screen. I didn’t know if anyone would see those triangles. I just didn’t like the way it looked when the black ended abruptly. Maybe I can work in some sort of CSS solution with background color so it’s not an issue.

    A normal widescreen will do. 😉 1920x1200 in my case…

    You could always make the background for the header a pure black (css) color with width=100%, with the image a transparent png in the center.  Then no matter how far you stretch the width it would look the same.

    Hey Steve, that’s not a bad idea. I’ll figure something out, I just need to get to my other job and don’t have time to fool around with it right now.
