    We’ve recently upgraded an MSM install and are now noticing that when pulling entries from site A on site B, the input field types are empty.

    example:
    ===============================

    {exp:channel:entries channel="card" site="default_site" status="not Closed" limit="5" disable="pagination|member_data|categories|category_fields"}
        <ul>
            <li>{card-image} - {card-vmb-image} - {title}</li>
        </ul>
    {/exp:channel:entries}

    ===============================

    card-image is the original file input field which worked until the upgrade.
    card-vmb-image is a brand new field that was created today for testing purposes and is also coming up blank.

    this test page is available at http://www.vacationmyrtlebeach.com/vmb/test
    I’ve tried renaming the field, obviously creating a new field, and removing any and all code around this, is there anything in the new MSM install that could cause this? any ideas on what to try?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi Fuel,

    I am sorry to see you having trouble with MSM and cross-site posts!

    To get you the best answer possible, I need to know what version of ExpressionEngine and Multiple Site Manager you are using.

    In the meantime, you may be experiencing this bug. Can you try the fix and let me know the result?

    Cheers,

    Thank you for the response,
    This was a channel:entries loop so the first fix did not work, however I believe that it would had I been using the file loop.

    The fix mentioned in the comments of that bug report (https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/17392) seemed to do the trick.

    Thanks again.
