This has been a busy week for site launches!
Back in 2008, I developed an EE site for ESRG Tech using EE 1.6.5. It was my second EE project and the time when I fell in love. 😊 The site was designed by my friend Brandon at CostaDesigns here in Virginia Beach.
Last month, ESRG wanted to freshen up the front and back end of the site. So, my friend Brandon retooled the design a bit then passed it my way for some EE goodness!
My first challenge was to upgrade to EE 2.4.0. Fortunately, the original build had very few add-ons so I was safe there. The update went smoothly and I skinned the new templates. I have been on a Structure kick lately, so I decided to rebuild the entire content structure on the back end to give the client more flexibility and control.
So the new site uses:
- Structure
- Wygwam
- Matrix
- Playa
- Freeform
- SEO Lite ( which was a conversion from Better Meta, which also rocks!)
Needless to say, the client was thrilled! The new look is now live as a work in progress as they continue writing more content and adding images. But, I am still happy to see them off to a great start!
