    I can’t figure out how to use the Multi Relationships custom field inside safecracker.
    Here is my closest attempt so far:

    {exp:safecracker channel="venues" entry_id="44" }
     {embed="/franchisee/menu-form" selected="{attendee-event:child_ids}" }
     <input type="submit" name="submit"/>
    {/exp:safecracker}

    and in the embed page:

    {exp:channel:entries dynamic="no" channel="menus"}
    {title}<input type="radio" name="menu" value="{entry_id}">
    {/exp:channel:entries}

    But alas I can only select one entry. I tried the exact same thing with checkboxs and it doesnt work.

    Hi imagineer,

    Mutli Relationships is a third-party fieldtype. Unfortunately, we don’t know the ins and outs of every fieldtype that is available. How, or if, a third-party fieldtype works with SafeCracker is entirely up the the author.

    Have you contacted the author of Multi Relationships with your question?

    Cheers,

    Thanks Dan I’m doing that now.

    Wouldn’t it be convenient if ee could simply output the form that I see in the backend, the parts that I specify easily. *sigh*

    Hey imagineer,

    EE can, in fact, output the same interface in SafeCracker as it does in the Control Panel. All of the Pixel and Tonic Fieldtypes work like that. That’s what I mean by “up to the developer”. Multi Relationships may work like this too, sometimes all it takes is including extra bits of CSS or linking to the proper js file to get it look the same.

    Is there anything else I can assist you with?

    Cheers,
