With custom statuses, can't select anything other than Open or Closed in SafeCracker.

This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I spoke too soon about this issue.

As I said in that thread, I’ve managed to get the status menu to display in SafeCracker, but I’ve now realized that the entry doesn’t save correctly…

I want to create these statuses:

    On schedule
    Cancelled

...And hide the defaults (Open and Closed).  But if I have a SafeCracker form that lets me choose a status from this menu, the saved entry ends up with a status of Closed no matter what I choose, even though I have “On schedule” assigned as the default status for this channel.

    Permissions:

Open (visible to no member groups)
Closed (visible to no member groups)
On schedule (visible to all member groups)
Cancelled (visible to all member groups)

For now I’ve gone back to a status menu with just Open and Closed, and it works correcly.  But I’d rather have my custom ones.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Mike,

SafeCracker can be a bit tricky, you need to make sure the Default Status is set in the SafeCracker Control Panel for this channel as well. This overrides, to a degree, the setting in the channel’s own preferences.

Go to Add-ons->Modules->SafeCracker and check the status assigned to the channel there.

    Cheers,
