I seem to be having troubles with the image manipulation part of EE.

Right now I have set up a thumbnail at (height 125, width 125) resize type: crop.
When I upload an image that is more horizontal it works perfectly and crops the end off to fit in that 125 x 125 square. But when I upload an image that is more vertical it distorts the image, seems to be stretching it a lot.

My maximum image width is set to 750px.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

There were some bugs in previous versions of ExpressionEngine with regards to Image Manipulations. To rule out any of those, I need to know what version of ExpressionEngine you are using here?

Hi Guys, So we completed the update and it did fix the image problem Woo Hoo. However, we have run into 1 last issue. If we are logged in… There is one page on the site that is producing the following error. Does this mean anything to you guys? I’m not sure how to fix the issue.

ACK! You have run into this bug.

There is a fix listed with the bug.

Can you try that and let me know if that fixes things for you?
