Pictures in attachment are showing problem in IE. So, if compatibility mode is turned on, user keeps getting logged out after some time, but if it is turned off, user cannot login at all.

Session only settings. I made screenshots from user computer. This thing happens on several computers.  As there is user limit, like 3 concurrent users can be online or something like that. Or 5 minutes you an be inside and that is it.  Cannot use cookies because they keep getting users very unhappy .. :D at least the way it is done in EE.

I’m sorry this has presented a problem for you and you client!

There is a known bug involving ExpressionEngine 2.4 and sessions being too short. I invite you to subscribe to that report to be notified of updates. It would be helpful if you could add your story to the report as well. As much information as possible will help us squash the bug in an upcoming release.

The only license of ExpressionEngine that has a limit on the number of users is the Freelancer license. Is that the case here? All other license can have as many users logged in as you like.

The bug has been accepted, but there is not fix date or version listed.

The best thing to do is subscribe to the bug. That will keep you up to date.
