I have got products that have small, medium and large options at different prices.

What would be the best way to set this up?

    Thanks

    Hi redfred,

Thank you for posting your question here. Simple commerce is not set up to have multiple sizes/colors of one product. it’s really just a a very simple way to sell. You would need to have a separate product for each variation (size/color).

There are a number of more robust ecommerce third party solutions for ExpressionEngine that you should consider looking into. BrilliantRetail, CartThrob, and Store.

Let me know if that helps.

I went with having a separate entry for each size which is ok.

Client now wants to buyers to be able to add a gift message before paying. Is there any way to do this?

Is there any way the buy now button could also submit a form?

Their budget won’t stretch to a full ecommerce solution.

    Hi redfred,

That isn’t possible with Simple Commerce without some custom add-on coding.

Is there any way the buy now button could also submit a form?

You may be able to implement this with some JavaScript where clicking the Buy Now also submits a form.

Is there anything else I can assist you with?

    Cheers,
