    EE v2.1.3 (multi-site manager)
    Site: dev.outreachmediagroup.com

    I am having problems logging in as an editor level user (no problem as a super-admin) in any browser (Safari 5.1.2, Chrome 17.0, IE8), but I can in FF 9.0.1. The error I get is

    You are not authorized to perform this action

    I did find one solution, by adding this to the config file, but it didn’t work for me:

    $config['admin_session_type'] = 's';

    We can’t really upgrade to the current version right now, because we are about to launch this site, and can’t risk any problems with the upgrade.

    Thanks for you help

    Hi,

    I’ve had similar trouble and found out that you have to set your admin files right. Each site folder needs to have the admin and index file, and the right settings for that site. If you log in, be sure to log in from that site and not from the system folder. It makes sense if a member has only access to one site, that he/she can’t login from the central system folder.

    Take a good look at the settings as shown here:

    Also, if you need help, you should post it in the technical support forum, because this forum is not being followed by EE staff.
