Greetings,

After a user logs in there is a intermediate screen that says the following:

“Thank You!

You are now logged in.

Click here if you are not redirected automatically”

I can’t find the template to modify this page, ultimately I’d like to add a ‘loading’ animated gif and our logo.

Hi learjet,

To edit this template go into the CP and under “Design > Message Pages > User Messages”. That’s the default page that EE uses to display both error and the login/logout messages. Just be aware that this template is very limited and you can’t add any EE/PHP code to it besides what is in there already. It’s very limited to how much customization you can do.

If you are looking to by pass this page all together I recommend installing the Authenticate extension which is free and will let you pass this page during login and logout. I hope this helps.
