I run a small arts/sustainability organization. I need to provide the public with info/tickets and gather/subscribe members and put those members to work.
One site vs. two? (we own .com, .ca, .org).
Looking for feedback or advice on approach in general.
Needs
public:
- inform re: org, festival, events, partner orgs, sponsors
- sell: tickets, memberships, accept donations (future need to sell merchandise)
- apply to play the festival or a one-off show
- integrate social media to build audience
member:
- committees = member groups = categories
- workflow: ideas—> planning—> implementing—> report
- suggest bands, rate bands, comment on applications
- create policy and procedure - wiki
- push and pull data from other services
- ideally integrate with social media
- organize people and assign tasks to people
There is a need to discuss, vote/approve/promote an idea, plan it out,schedule and assign tasks to members and create forms that help organize, run and track.
