One of our entry titles was appearing strangely on the front end: it wasn’t wrapping, and part of it was cut off by the parent div.  When I viewed source, I found that the non-breaking space entity was being inserted into the spaces between the title words, as in:

    Here Is The Title

These entities didn’t appear in the title field on the Publish / Edit page for the entry.  I backspaced/space-bared over the spaces, and the problem went away.

I’m assuming this had something to do with the client pasting from MS word.  Has anyone had this problem?  I thought this wouldn’t be a problem with the default fields, but what do I know: 😊

If your client has pasted from Word (or possible any other WYSIWYG, or even another web page) it’s possible that NBSP’s were copied over.

It’s an age old problem only really solvable with client education.

Thanks, Rob.  Yeah, I thought this was the case.  For some reason I thought the native EE fields would be exempt from the problem; I guess that doesn’t make any sense.
