Hello,
We just updated from EE1.6.0 to EE 2.4.0. 
Everything seems to be working fine until when we try to update the settings of any channel or edit any entry.

This is the error we get when editing an entry:

A Database Error Occurred

Error Number: 1054

Unknown column 'exp_channels.live_look_template' in 'field list'

This is what we get when trying to update the channel’s settings:

A Database Error Occurred

Error Number: 1054

Unknown column ‘live_look_template’ in ‘field list’

Both errors display the query the engine is trying to make, and also they both display this (respectively):

Filename: D:\ee\fdot_system\codeigniter\system\database\DB_driver.php

Line Number: 330

Filename: D:\ee\fdot_system\codeigniter\system\database\DB_driver.php

Line Number: 330

Any ideas of what could be causing this? Any help will be greatly appreciated since we are in a rush and in really tight deadline.

When we go to the channels preferences, we get this PHP error just after “XML Language”:

A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Notice

Message: Undefined variable: live_look_template

Filename: core/Loader.php(727) : eval()'d code

Line Number: 74

Please help!!!

We just found out that the “live_look_template” column in not in the “exp_channels” table. What if we manually add this column to the table? If we do so, what kind of data type is supposed to be contained in this column?  Would this fix our issue or bring us to more trouble?

Ok, it seems that upgrading from 1.6 to 2.4 fails to add the “live_look_template” in the “exp_channels” table.  We manually added the “live_look_template” as “int<10> unsigned not null default 0”.  This seems to solve our problem.  If we encounter anything else related to this matter, we will again post here.
