We did a new install of EE and during the install process didn’t select the comment module.  After we setup our fields and channel and created a new entry in a channel, we went to the Edit listing page to view all of the entries available.  We received a mysql error saying the comments table did not exist in the database.

We fixed this by installing the comment module and now we can view the edit screen without the error.

This seems to be a bug and the Edit listing should just not show the Comment column and not do a call to the database table if the module is not installed.

Please verify this and if this is truly a bug add it to the list for a future release.

    Thanks
