NOTE - I AM ANGRY. I significant factor in my decision to go with EE was the promise of PAID support (from expressionengine.com/overview):

    Support Included

Our support staff are all professionals who use ExpressionEngine for real-world work. When you need help, you always get it from a paid expert (our community members love to help too!).

As far as I can tell, THIS IS A LIE. I see NO evidence of any “paid experts,” no way of contacting any “paid experts,” and certainly no timely responses from any experts at all. Every time I have a problem with EE, I have to post to the forum, and wait somewhere between 24 and 72 hours for someone to respond. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I can’t afford for growth, knowledge, and progress to take this long every time I have a question.

i understand your frustration, but waiting 24 hours (which is just about now) for support response is not out of line. The problem is they could have acknowledged your post, but sometimes things get delayed.

if you’re tired of waiting, i recommend not bumping that thread, but discussing it here.

    Hello johndove523,

I am sorry to hear that you are frustrated. I understand and we will get to your case as soon as we can. We try to get to cases within 48 hours and Support requests are answered in the order that they are received.

I am going to close this thread so we can concentrate on your original post.

    Thanks,
