    Greetings all,

I’ve been using a MAMP Pro install without a hitch for a few years on OS 10.6.

Lately, I’ve switched to 10.7; the other day I had kind of a bad crash (requiring me to just power down the computer).

After that, MAMP Pro wouldn’t get Apache or MySql going — it would just spin and spin until I tell it to quit.

I’m not a server guy so I find a lot of this stuff confusing. I’ve spent some hours trying to figure what’s going on (one issue is that on the crash, the httpd.conf file gets altered).

Finally, I had to just reinstall. But it happened again the same day, now I’m reinstalling for the second time.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Greetings,

    Thought I’d try this again….

While running 10.6 I never had a problem with MAMP Pro; but now some really debilitating issues since installing Lion (not sure that it’s related).

After a while, MAMP Pro won’t start up Mysql — it’ll just spin. I close it down, and with regular MAMP Apache and Mysql get the green light, but I’m not able to access localhost on the web.

Anyone suffering similar problems or found any solutions to this?

    Thanks in advance!
