Noticed on some recent sites that EE seems to save another version of the template file in the correct location but without the “.html” extension. Has anyone else seen this?

Running EE 2.4 and have moved the templates folder out of the default location.

    Thanks, Ant

I’ve been having the same issue, and also have my templates folder outside of the system folders. Driving me crazy, as now things are getting out of sync between one environment and another.

Also, as I’m digging into the database, seeing that the template in question has undefined in the template_type field rather than ‘webpage’

Glad I’m not the only one Patrick. Looks like it’s an issue then rather than just me.

I think you’re right it does seem to be linked to the template_type field. Even if I try to change it to another type in the CP, it seems that the value isn’t being saved/updated.

    Cheers, Ant
