I thought I had the login working perfectly, but:

    1. Member logs in and all looks good. But if user goes to another page, goes back, is now logged out.

    2. Often, logging in takes user to another page. They are immediately logged out.

    3. Going back to login, top right of the page says they are logged in, but they aren’t, so they log in, and are lost again when they go to another page.

Why does log in status disappear?

    Thanks very much,

First thought is your membership cookies is askew

admin > Security and Session Preferences - What have you got set here?
Is this happening on one machine or multiple, one browser or multiple ?

Sounds like cookies are turned off on the browser but I’ve been wrong before 😛

Oh yeah ... meant to mention ... 2.4.0.

Logic is relentless, but cna be elusive.

I found the culprit in my navigation. Home was bypassing the homepage you see when logged in, and going to the one you see before you are logged in.

I changed the link and all is good.

Thanks for jumping on this - it would have been so hard to determine remotely, so I’m glad I followed the links.

    Thanks!
