Is there a add-on or a way to auto generate a new file name when a user uploads a file via safecracker?

Thanks for posting on the forums, hope your day is going well.

I am not aware of any such Add-On. What are you trying to accomplish? I know that users are prompted to change the name for duplicate files when uploading. Aside from that, not sure what else is available.

Would you like me to move this to the community forum and we can see if anyone else has experience with this?
