Sometimes the email notification that someone has posted a comment is wrong.

For example, it may show the link to the article as being:

    http://fatnews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/1664/index.php/weblog/comments/1664

    However, the link should be:

    http://fatnews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/1664/

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks.

    I am running EE 2.3.1.

I will update to EE 2.4 right now.

    Hi Larry Hobbs,

Sorry that you are having this issue. Could you go to your channel settings and tell me what you have in the Comment Page URL setting? In your case this should be set to http://fatnews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/

Please test this and let me know if that resolves things for you.

    Sean,

    Thank you for your help.

The Comment Page URL is set correctly:

    http://fatnews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/

A couple months ago I paid someone to upgrade the site from EE 1.7 to EE 2.3.1.

Afterwards, I noticed several errors with the site.

I assumed they were bugs in EE 2.3.1, but now I can’t help but wonder if the errors were introduced when the upgrade was performed.

    Thanks.
