Because I have a top-level css folder, Safecracker CSS was not loading. Per instructions in other threads I created my own Safecracker CSS file and pointed to it within the page html. The mistake I made was naming the file the same thing as referenced in the instructions, _ee_saef_css. I was not thinking when I did it. Browsers will not recognize the file as css. By renaming the file ee_saef.css, the file is now recognized by browsers and the html buttons display correctly.

    Original Message:
I am converting my SAEF to Safecracker. I had a problem getting the Safecracker css to show because I already have a css folder. I created a Safecracker css file within my directory. I’m still having a problem with html buttons showing up properly.

I’ve traced the problem to two missing png files:
    themes/cp_themes/default/images/submenu.png
    themes/cp_themes/default/images/menu.png

These files are not present in the appropriate folders. I am currently running 2.3.1 but downloaded 2.4.0 to see if they are in that install. No, they are not.

Does 2.4.0 have a fix for the css pointer issue? How can I get the two png files?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Jim,

I am happy to hear you were able to troubleshoot this. Nice bit of detective work.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Cheers,
